Founder and CEO of Business Women Connect

Linda Rendleman is committed to the issues and concerns which come about as a woman in today’s society. She knows well the issues of balance, protecting ones health, having the courage to take steps in unknown territory and owning our victories as well as our defeats.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Speaking and English from Indiana University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Butler University, her education has given her the tools to write, speak and listen to her colleagues.

Once a single mom, Linda knows the struggles of the single working Mother, as a daughter, she understands both the joys and the hardships of redefining that relationship, as a wife and companion, she realizes the strength of commitment necessary to maintain relationships and as a friend, she is aware of the need for girlfriends and the importance they play in women’s lives.

Dedicated to the working woman, her hope is to bring valuable information, mentoring and support to the women of the community and the members of Business Women Connect.

The website indywomenconnect.com was started in 2000. In 2003 the membership-based organization started holding city-wide meetings in Indianapolis, IN. In 2004 the name was changed to Business Women Connect to reflect the wider scope of the organization and to encompass the other cities that the organization is reaching.

“Through our website, organization and radio programming, we hope to provide a forum for professional women,” says Linda. “I hope they will communicate with us, tell us what they want to see here, and get involved with our organization to make it all it can be.”
