CWE - the Club for Women Entrepreneurs
CWE is a non-profit non-governmental organisation founded in Geneva, Switzerland, on September 3rd, 2002, to promote and assist in the creation and development of viable and sustainable women's enterprises in Switzerland and abroad.
Vision Statement
To unite women active in managerial positions in Switzerland and abroad for professional networking and mentoring which may assist them in the creation and development of their enterprises;
To provide opportunities for continuous learning through luncheon presentations, seminars, company visits, business trips and special events with a highly professional content;
To grant material and other aid to women in areas where conditions of gender equality, economic and legal frameworks are less developed than in Switzerland
Mission Statement
- To promote a "can-do" spirit among women entrepreneurs;
- To motivate members to personal development and attain stability;
- To encourage good governance, within the Club as well as in women's enterprises;
- To promote the principles of sustainable development;
- To embrace fair competition;
- To practice intelligent altruism;
- To stimulate an appetite for impartial information;
- To encourage open-mindedness and progress for all concerned, and
- To ensure to each member immediate benefits - material or immaterial - the value of which would surpass the annual membership fees.
CWE is an association organised corporatively under articles 60 and following of the Swiss Civil Code.
